I’ve been tagged by Happy Chyck. I’m new at this, so if I’m bad at the whole meme thing, please forgive me.
Here are the rules:

1) What was I doing 10 years ago? Let’s see, that would have been 1998. I was counting down the days to the last day of 8th grade. I had a crush on this one boy (I called him “Crush Boy” much to my current horror), and I remember sitting in my room with my best friend planning how I was going to kiss him on the last day of school. Because, you know, that’s romantic stuff. Sadly, nerves interfered, and Operation Awkward Kiss failed.
2) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order):
1. Morning softball game. My husband coaches 4 year old girls softball at our church, so I guess that makes me “Team Mom” even though I’m not a mom yet.
2. My parents are having a neighborhood yard sale. Now normally I think those things are tacky, but this neighborhood boasts million dollar homes. I can’t wait to sift through rich peoples’ crap.
3. My grandmother will be having surgery on Monday on her left coronary artery, because it’s 99% blocked (Smoking and Southern cooking are apparently bad for you. Go figure). Anyway, I have volunteered my husband to lay down some mulch in her backyard.
4. I desperately need to give my dogs baths.
5. I would really like to catch up on some reading. I have 6 new YAL books on my bookshelf that I haven’t read yet.
3) Snacks I enjoy: Moose Tracks ice cream, Smart Balance popcorn (that stuff freakin rocks! You’ll think you’re sitting in a movie theater), dark chocolate
4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire: Try not to make it on E! True Hollywood Story for squandering it all, travel all over the world, see every Broadway show, open an animal rescue, build a library, brag about my money to people I don’t like
5) Three of my bad habits:
1. I am a huge night owl.
2. I get really dry skin in the winter. I will scratch my legs until they are a bloody mess without realizing it. Spring sucks for me because of my ugly scabby legs.
3. I am a sucker for reality television. The dumber it is, the more I’m drawn to it. I actually watched the premiere of Farmer Wants a Wife this week. It was a stupid as it sounds.
